Heather Darling, M.A.C.M., has followed the call to be a Church Music Director for the past 14 years. Heather has directed and mentored both adult and youth choirs, handbell choirs, and contemporary Christian bands in both ELCA and Missouri-Synod settings. She has directed over 15 choral cantatas and 6 youth music productions. A firm believer in the power of music for youth, Heather mentors youth interested in contemporary Christian band vocals and provides opportunities for youth to lead worship throughout the year.

Heather has appeared as a mezzo-soprano soloist with the Trinity Lutheran Seminary Choir including performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Coronation Mass, and Haydn’s Paukenmesse, Lord Nelson Mass and Theresienmesse.  In addition to her solo work with the Trinity Seminary Choir, she has performed with the Capital University Choral Union.

During her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Heather was a member of and musical arranger/composer for the national award-winning co-ed collegiate a cappella group, Off the Beat. Heather has since penned contemporary Christian songs including “We Are United” and “Going Home.” Heather received her Master of Arts in Church Music degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 2015.
